Plate Information & Imprint Colors
All custom printed products require a plate to print from. Hot stamping requires the creation of a metal plate and ink imprints are made from a rubber plate. Plate charges are a one-time fee per logo. Please note that imprints of more than one color require additional plates for each color. Plates larger than 25 square inches require a special quotation – please call for details.

Artwork Guidelines
Artwork must be supplied black and white camera-ready, to exact size and color-separated. If your artwork requires us to change art size, transform a rough layout or set type a charge of $160 (A) per hour will be incurred. Photocopies, business cards and stationery are not acceptable forms of camera-ready artwork.
We accept art in either PC or Mac based formats - Adobe Illustrator, Quark or Photoshop files preferred with fonts converted to outline.
If placed images (scans) are used in Illustrator, scans must be included with the job. Scans should be 600 DPI or higher.
We will also accept the following formats: Encapsulated Postscript (.eps) and Portable Document Format (.pdf).
Acceptable medias include CDs and 3.5" floppy disks. Artwork may be emailed to artwork@pack-spec.com. Subject line should contain distributor P.O. number and company name. Art files should be compressed using WinZip or Stuff-it to guard against corruption and to reduce the file size. Quote requests may be emailed to premierline@pack-spec.com.
A copy or printout of all digital and email artwork must accompany the purchase order to ensure digital file accuracy.

Proofs
One black and white proof will be submitted for all new custom printed orders. Orders will not be scheduled for production until signed proof approval is received. All artwork becomes the property of the Premier Line unless otherwise discussed.
